Description:


The following instructions guide you to replace the back left coupling. 


Process:


You will need the set of Allen wrenches that came with your Airwolf3D printer.

White Lithium Grease. 



1) Remove the 6 screws from the back panel of the printer then take the back panel off.

2) From the back left side of the printer move the coupling screw highlighted.

3) Remove the screw on top of the back left corner.

    --


    4) Loosen the 2 screws on the back left bearing.

    --


    5) Loosen the 2 screws on the front left bearing. 

    --


    6) Move the left rod towards the front of the printer to disengage it from the back left coupling. 

    --

     

    7) Remove the side screw from the back left corner.

    --

     

    8) Remove the 4 screws from the back left limit switch housing.  The top 2 are highlighted and the arrow is pointing to where the bottom 2 are located.

    --

     

    9) Once all the screws are out and the left rod is disengaged from the back left coupling, gently slide the corner assembly out towards the back of the printer to expose the coupling that needs replacing.

    --

     

    10) Replace the old coupling with the new one.

    --


    11) Reassemble by following the above steps in reverse order.

    --


    12) Grease all the rods in the printer with White Lithium Grease.
