Description


When using a surface on the glass that increases thickness, this will effect the distance the auto leveling sets the nozzles to the glass. To fix this, we need to install the same thickness to the edge of the glass.

Solution

1) Cut tape to the length of the shorter ceramic glass edge. A different tape can be used as long as it has the same thickness as your adhesion tape.

2) Line tape with the edge of the glass.

3) Smooth tape down.

4) Pull back one side of your build tape. Removing the entire back makes application more difficult.

5) Place exposed sticky side to glass.

6) For easy application a felt decal squeegee is recommended, but not required. Work the tape down slowly while pulling off the back.

7) Use the squeegee to work out any bubbles.
