Description:

This step by step guide provides instruction for replacing the extruder assembly latch on HD series printers.

 Process:

 

1) Remove the bolt and open the latch.

2). Remove the C clip from the extruder assembly

--

3). Remove the 3 screws from the extruder assembly.

--

4). Remove the back plate from the extruder assembly.

--

5). Align the bearing with the new latch.

--

6). Place the new latch and bearing into the extruder assembly.

--

7). Replace the back plate onto the extruder assembly.

--

8). Tighten the extruder assembly screws. Make sure the washer is in place.

--

9). Replace the C clip.

--

10). Close the latch and insert the bolt. The latch has now been replaced.
